In the autumn of 1934, the main force of the Red Army went north to resist Japan, and the guerrillas remaining in the Dabie Mountains continued their struggle. With the Jiang Bandit gang implementing the "Three Lights Policy" and strictly sealing the locks, the guerrillas in the mountains encountered difficulties in lack of food.
