Informed by radical anthropology (and Raquel Welch's furkini in 1 Million Years BC) 10000 BC follows a group of women taking part in a sex strike for meat. A satire of simplistic binary men vs women sex wars politics using corny 60s epic cinema aesthetics, with a surprisingly easy resolution and a queer romance. It was created with a crew of women and LGBTQ+ people.
~ It’s the time of human prehistory and a group of women are whiling away the hours of a sex strike. Music, drama, dancing and romance – all a cave girl needs.Director
