Summary

On Christmas 2021 I was walking around the city of Terrassa and I saw a fair of attractions. I went over and started testing the focus, blur and movement of the lights at the fair with my new reflex camera. Later I remembered a Menken work called Lights, so it became a casual homage to Menken. INFO: Marie Menken (1909 - 1970) was a North American experimental filmmaker and painter. She understood the camera as an extension of moving painting. She will be one of the first New York filmmakers to use my camera and will train Andy Warhol in her use. The filmmaker Peter Kubelka will write that Menken will make the most of "cell luloid" and "transports the viewer to a món nou... It seems that Marie learned from her cinema and let the Bolex talk.(Càmera). The seves pel·lícules are expeditions, like Colom, to a country that had not been seen before".
