Architects were forced to operate in a difficult context during the years of dictatorship and isolation, in a fragile balance between the need for individual affirmation and standardised projects, increasingly present in the era. We hear the story of architect Vasile Oprișan, who, through his outstanding projects, contributed to preserving the ties of the city of Timișoara with the European cultural space and the contemporary architectural discourse.
