Film about goatkeepers and the nomadic life of shepherds in Oaxaca, who live up in the mountains with their goats in a solitary and dedicated life, until the time comes to deliver their herd to the estate where the slaughtering takes place. A tradition that goes back in the region for over 400 years. All family members participate in the slaughtery and the goat meat preparation. The film is mostly a reflection about life and death at the Mixteca, the protagonists deal with their concepts on life, death and passions. The traditions and music of the region are present through the Pasatono Orchestra, Lila Downs singing voice and a peasant who wonders: What do goats dream?
