Biography

Born in Anhui Shouxian County in 1924. In 1942 joined a theatrical troupe where he begins to write succesful plays. In 1949 he goes to Hong Kong to work as scriptwriter, and debuted as a film director very soon, in 1951. His most famous and awarded movie is "The 14 Amazons" (1972).
