Biography

Filmmaker, Mountaire and independent producer. Born in 1987, Palestinian national and resident of Syria. Graduated in 2009 as an Assistant Engineer in Decoration and Interior Design. He conducted several film workshops. In 2025, He selected for the Berlinale Talents program during the Berlin International Film Festival. In 2024, he made his first feature-length documentary, "My Memory is Full of Ghosts", which won many awards at international festivals. He also directed a short-feature film, "A Very Ordinary Day" 2020, a short documentary, "Summer, City and Camera" 2022. Zawahri completed several experimental works and video Art and is currently developing a project tracking the stories of the forced absentees in the Syrian War. His work is also based on a realistic vision of the stories of the marginalized who have suffered the scourge of war in Syria.
