Biography

Ola Jankowska is a Polish writer and director working in Poland and the UK. She studied directing at Łódź Film School and the NFTS. She has made close to a dozen narrative and documentary shorts which have screened at festivals around the world. Most recently, in April 2021, her short film Windcatchers screened at the National Gallery of Art in Poland. Her first feature documentary "I Was Here", co-directed with Nathalie Biancheri, premiered at CPH:DOX in 2019. "Anatomy" is her first fiction feature, developed at the TorinoFilmLab Script&Pitch and Ekran+. For over five years, Jankowska has also been a screenwriting tutor at the Łódź Film School.Read More...
