Biography

Filmmaker, Audiovisual Producer and Cultural Manager. He has developed his entire career in his hometown, Iquique, in northern Chile. Independent and self-taught filmmaker, he has participated in different workshops, workshops and diplomas in Cultural Management, Cinema, Photography and Editing. He studied Actors Direction at the EICTV in San Antonio de los Baños, Cuba. He has directed fiction short films, including Amigá (2011) and Milagrosa pesca (2015), which participated in the Regional Short Film Competition of the 48th Viña del Mar International Film Festival. In addition, in 2009, he founded the Iquique International Film Festival , in which he is Executive Director. He is currently working as a Director on his first feature film Ni Juntos, ni Solos, the first fiction feature film developed in Iquique in more than 90 years. The film won the Work in Progress award at the 49th Viña del Mar International Film Festival in 2016 and the 48th International Festival of New Latin American Cinema in Havana - Cuba 2016.Read More...
