Biography

She is a Brazilian visual artist and documentary filmmaker living in Spain. In 2017, she moved to Madrid to study documentary filmmaking at the Madrid Film School (ECAM), where she made her first short film Wan ju wu (2019), which won an Honourable Mention in the international category at the Curta Cinema Festival in Rio de Janeiro. In the following year, she made her second documentary Madrid, mala vida, which was screened at festivals such as DocLisboa, DOK Leipzig and the Festival dei Popoli. In her work, she flirts between pure aesthetics and audiovisual trash.
