Biography

Keti Stamo (1982) is a screenwriter and filmmaker who was born in Albania and raised in Italy and Switzerland. After receiving a BA in psychology and an MA in criminology, she studied the relations between psychology and cinema. She went on to collaborate with several NGOs, promoting education through the arts. At the behest of Amnesty International, she created dream workshops in Greece's refugee camps. Together with the actor Ashraf Barhom, she worked in different aspect of migration by pinpointing psychodrama techniques to use with groups of Syrian children stuck in the camps.
