He is an Egyptian director and scriptwriter. He received a bachelor's degree in film directing from the Higher Institute of Cinema in 1967. His ambition in childhood was not to be a film director but he wanted to be a journalist. He started working as an assistant director in some films, Who lost his shadow) to Kamal Sheikh, and (illusions of love) to Mamdouh Shukri. On film, he directed "The Thongs", "The Land of Fear" and "Letters of the Sea".
