António Vilar Justiniano dos Santos worked as an actor mainly in Portugal, where he was born, but also in Spain, where he took residence until he died. He also did some acting in France, Italy, Argentina and Brazil. Before becoming an actor, he worked as a make-up artist and as a decorator.
