Biography

Actress, model, and singer Debbie D was born Deborah DePaul on April 30, 1972 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Debbie started out mainly as a singer/songwriter; she was the lead singer for many bands in high school and has sung with several groups that have toured up and down the East Coast. Debbie released the CD "I Want You in My Life" in 1992; this album has sold in many countries all over the world. Moreover, Debbie was first sought after for modeling work while attending high school and has been featured in such publications as Draculina, Femme Fatale, and Outlaw Biker. In addition, Debbie has been steadily acting in films since the 90's. She has appeared every year as the Brown Haired Mermaid at the annual Coney Island Mermaid Parade in New York. Debbie is perhaps best known as her alter ego Destiny - Vampire Mermaid; this comic book character has been featured on a monthly basis in Scary Monsters magazine.
