Biography

Greta Griniūtė is a Lithuanian director and screenwriter known for her comedic and character-driven storytelling. Her early studies in physical theater in the UK set the stage for a unique cinematic style that blends humor with empathetic character work. Following a scholarship in Los Angeles, she directed her debut short Tickle My Pickle, which received international recognition, including screenings at LA Shorts and a Best Film award at ARFF Berlin. In 2020, Griniūtė earned an MA in Directing Fiction from Goldsmiths, University of London, where she created Rice & Bread, showcased at the London Short Film Festival and POFF Shorts.
