Biography

Jarmo Kiuru is a Jussi award nominated cinematographer whose works have been awarded in Sundance (Girl Picture 2022, The Date 2013), Berlinale (The Date) and Canneseries (Mister8 2021). His films have also competed in Cannes and Toronto (All Inclusive 2019) among other major film festivals. He is a board member of FSC, also acting as a secretary and running the social media crew. “Similarly, as each story should find the ways it wants and needs to be told, I’m looking for ways to become myself as an artist.”
