Sarah Nicolazzo is a dynamic stage and screen actor who brings a sensitivity and curiosity to her work. She is a graduate of the Full-time program at 16th Street Actors Studio, The Groundlings School (Core Improv Track) and holds a Bachelor of Creative Arts from The University of Melbourne (VCA). Sarah is one of the recipients of the ABC Fresh Start Initiative, which allowed her to write and perform her original Wailing Sarah comedic characters in a digital series pilot. Sarah’s onset experience in Film and TV includes LaBrea, Shantaram, The Followers and the upcoming short film SeVen from Iris Arc Pictures (Godless: The Eastfield Exorcism). Her notable stage credits include: Savage in Limbo, Sister Cities (Q44 Theatre Company), Coriolanus (Heartstring), Summerfolk (Burning House Theatre) & The Kids Are Alright (Little Ones Theatre). From 2017 to 2021 she produced and performed in a range of digital content for outlets such as Amazon Prime, Youtube, Personal Play Argentina, SeekaTv & Flixxo including the award-winning web series Maddalena and The Holiest One. In 2022 she completed a series of AFTRS directing courses with Amen Palangi (Tennessine) and Elissa Down (The Black Balloon). In 2024 Sarah made her directorial debut with the short film Run, Baby which premiered at MonsterFest. Sarah is deeply committed to representation and inclusion. She is drawn to female-driven stories that explore the psychological underpinnings of trauma, particularly through the experience of first and second-generation immigrants.
