Summary

During a trade mission Jun Qiluo, the eldest daughter of the Southern city-state of Yan Nan, meets and falls in love with Xuan Lie, the leader of the Northern city-state of Bei Xuan. Despite their cultural differences and initial prejudices, they grow to appreciate each other and overcome numerous challenges to be together. Their enduring love fosters the development of the silk trade, strengthening their nations and promoting peace between the North and South.
